JUDO: Perfect spring water treatment:
E-Reihe Filter JUDO E-series filter:

are used, depending on the requirements, for the removal of iron, manganese, acidity and discoloration, and to improve the odour and taste of the water.
Function: The water flows through the closed filter container from top to bottom. The unwanted materials are retained in one or more layers of filter material of different particle sizes and composition. The filter is cleaned by return flushing, during which the impurities are flushed out of the filter from bottom to top.
The special performance capability of JUDO filters is demonstrated for example by the JEF-EM filter range. Thanks to the outstanding catalytic properties of the filter material, these enable the removal of iron and manganese, without costly pre-treatment, in a single filter.
Expert consultation from JUDO is required for selection of the optimum procedure and filter.
Denitrator JUDO Nitrate reduction:

The JUDO denitrator (JDN) works on the principle of ion exchange. The water containing nitrates is directed over a high-quality ion-exchanger resin that is selective to nitrates. In this process, the nitrate contained in the water is exchanged for chlorine, and thus reliably removed. The regeneration of the system is carried out using common salt – available as a dual system with volume-controlled initiation of the regeneration process. This ensures a continuous supply of nitrate-free water.
Umkehr-Osmose-Anlage JUDO Reverse osmosis:

JUDO reverse osmosis systems (JOS) are used for the desalination of clear water containing no iron or manganese. Their method of operation has been copied from nature. The water is desalinated by means of semi-permeable membranes, without the use of additional chemicals. These membranes are permeable to the pure water, but not to the materials contained in the water, such as dissolved salts, heavy metals, pesticides, viruses or bacteria.
When water is forced through the membrane, the result is desalinated water, without the need for further treatment.
JUDO desalinator: The JUDO desalinator (JOS 030 F – JOS 1 F) is used for the continual production of desalinated water. The normal system pressure (min. 3 bar) is adequate as the working pressure. The desalinated water is collected without pressure. The yield is approx. 15-30 %, and the salt retention over 90 %. Up to an initial water hardness of 25 °dH, no pre-treatment is required.
JUDO reverse osmosis systems: JUDO reverse osmosis systems (JOS 4-7 G) are used for the continual production of desalinated water. The water is forced through membranes by pump pressure. The desalinated water is collected without pressure.
The raw yield is approx. 70 %, and the salt retention between 95 and 98 %. Softened water is used as the supply water for the reverse osmosis system.
Dosieranlage JUDO Dosing:

JUDO dosing pump systems are used in the area of pre-treatment in own water treatment systems, e.g. for the addition of flocculation or oxidation agents. They can however also be used as independent water treatment systems, e.g. for increasing the pH-level, hardness stabilisation or creation of the protective layer in pipe systems and disinfection of drinking water and piping installations.

Model JJP: in the volume-controlled version for the addition of JUL mineral solution.
Model JWD: in the volume-controlled version with dosing container and mixing device.
Model JWT: like the JWD, but without dosing container for direct dosing from the transport container.
Model JUD: like the JWD, although for control by the power supply, e.g. parallel to a spring pump.
Model JUT: like the JUD, but without dosing container for direct dosing from the transport container.
Model JWD-C and JUD-C: like the JWD and JUD, but a special version for dosing from spontaneously vaporising disinfectant solutions, such as liquid chlorine.
UV-Entkeimungsanlage JUDO UV disinfection: Disinfection without chlorine:

JUDO UV disinfection systems (JUV) are used for the disinfection of clear water containing no iron or manganese. This makes use of the disinfectant action of UV-C radiation at a wavelength of 254 nm. The water flows through the radiation chamber with its high-performance, low-pressure UV radiator, which kills off all micro-organisms within seconds.
The disinfectant action depends on the transmission, i.e. the permeability of the water to UV radiation. The standard version of the JUDO systems is designed for water with a transmission level of 67 % at 100 mm and a radiation dose of 400 J/m² (DVGW Notice W 293).
Our systems are distinguished by their short installation and commissioning times, coupled with low operating costs and high operating reliability. The systems are equipped with a special ignition system, allowing them to be switched on and off as required, without reducing the working life of the radiator.
