Sanitary installation
Corrosion-resistant connecting pipes (PVC or PE) are now standard and quite normal. Short piping lengths reduce pressure loss. Where long stretches of piping is unavoidable, the length can be compensated for by increasing the diameter of the pipe. When laying the pipe, care must be taken to ensure that the pipe can be drained by the natural slope, without any trapped air pockets. Pipe bends produce lower resistances and pressure losses than angular pipe sections. It is preferable if the circulating pump can be installed below the water level, so that it has a free supply. If installation above the water level is unavoidable, a tightly sealing non-return valve should be installed in the suction line at a point below the lowest possible water level. A raised piping loop with a built-in ventilator and bleed plug should also be installed in the pressure line (after the filter-heat-exchanger-dosing system assembly) above the highest point of the filter, so that in the event of a filter stoppage, the break in the water column does not take place within the assembly, but only after it. A dirty water outlet of corresponding size is required for the smooth drainage of the flushing water from the filter system (to DIN 1988). The requirements of DIN 1988 must be observed when connecting the fresh water pipe automatic level control (this is ensured for the JUDO products "Surface cleaner" and " Compensating container").

Electrical installation

The applicable VDE guidelines and the local regulations of the energy supply company must be observed. Conductive (metal) pool inlet components must have a permanent connection to the potential-equalisation cable. The JUDO underwater spotlight operates on the low safety voltage of 12 V. The actuation of the JUDO reverse flow system is carried out indirectly by a pneumatic switch. For level-sensing, JUDO uses sealed float switches operating on low voltage. All electrical equipment operated in the vicinity of the pool must be protected centrally by means of a fault-current protection switch or circuit-breaker.
